Territory Fleet Representative

Title: Territory Fleet Representative / Territory Senior Fleet Representative
Compensation: Salary + Results-Based Compensation

Reports to: Vice President of Sales
Daily Responsibilities & Job Description:
The Fleet Representative will be the face of Doering Leasing Co. to new accounts and prospective accounts in a new regional territory in the Continental US and will be the primary contact for regional accounts for all aspects of fleet management for accounts originated from the regional territory office.

Fleet Representative will be responsible for prospecting and identifying qualified fleets with a need, means, and credit to lease a fleet. Fleet Representative will collaborate with the Owner/CFO/Controller/Fleet Manager and meeting with key stakeholders to discuss fleet and fleet management needs, develop solutions including appropriate type(s) of lease(s), additional fleet management tools, establishing order process, cycle times, vehicle selector lists, and handling disposition of vehicles through Doering Leasing Co's established remarketing channels nationwide. Home office will help in all administrative tasks including paperwork, funding, financing, payoffs, and remarketing.

Fleet Representative will employ Doering Leasing Co. administrative staff to fulfill customer promises, but will take complete ownership of the process themselves and be the frontline to all customers based out of the territory office. Constant contact with the Vice President of Sales regarding customer demand, orders, timing, funding, title/registration, financial, and other topics is essential. Periodic reviews, budgeting, sales projections, and account discussion will be of paramount importance. The job will also include a great deal of work putting targeted business development mailers and events together, including targeted mailers, newsletters to clients and prospects, and seminars for clients and prospects on topical issues of importance to fleet managers and business owners. Doering Leasing Co's internal Business Development Manager will likely assist with such tasks to improve the productivity and client-facing time of the Fleet Representative.

Ideal Candidate:
A proven record of fleet management responsibilities, preferably with another leasing company or Bank. Key characteristics: total customer focus, self-managed, highly motivated and productive, goal-oriented overachiever. A proven record of strategic thinking; excellent written and verbal communication skills; high energy, friendly voice, polite persistence, ability to self motivate and motivate others, and a passion for communicating the benefits of great products to partners and asking for the business. Candidates must have proven leadership experience and have demonstrated abilities in sales, negotiations, and partner relationship management. This position demands the ability to influence the management team through written/interpersonal, presentation skills, and the ability to simultaneously address multiple projects and challenges.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Masters of Arts or Sciences preferred
  • 3+ yrs. of fleet management experience with a bank or leasing company
  • Demonstrated competency with Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint / ACT!
  • Excellent oral, written, organization, presentation and independent workload management skills

Business Development Manager

Title: Business Development Manager
Compensation: Negotiable Salary + Results-Based Compensation

Reports to: Vice President of Sales
Daily Responsibilities:
The Business Development Manager will be a major key to Doering Leasing Co's future growth. Primary job responsibilities will include coordinating target company information with Doering Leasing Co. sales force (primarily VP of Sales) and making contact to establish a relationship and schedule an appointment with each firm. The job will also include a great deal of work putting targeted business development mailers and events together, including targeted mailers, newsletters to clients and prospects, and seminars for clients and prospects on topical issues of importance to fleet managers and business owners.

Job Description:
Spearheard development of marketing and business development. Develop and retain clientele. Achieve sales goals. Assemble and coordinate presentations. This position may lead to advancement opportunities with Doering Leasing Co. This candidate may be invited to become a full-time sales person after 18-24 months if the dynamic and skill-set are correct for the job.
